A geo-targeted campaign link is one link that does two jobs: it sends each visitor to the right destination for their country, and it counts clicks separately for every campaign tag you share it with. SlashedUrl is built around this combination. It also shortens the link and generates a QR code for it.
Do most URL shorteners support geo-targeting?
No. Most popular URL shorteners do not offer geo-targeting on any plan, including paid tiers. SlashedUrl includes geo-targeting on its free plan for up to 3 links at a time, and each link can target as many countries as you need.
How do I track clicks per campaign on one link?
Add a campaign tag (source, medium, campaign) for each channel you share the link on. With most link tools a UTM tag is fixed per link, so every channel needs its own link. Geo-targeting means a single link redirects visitors to different destination URLs based on their country. A link shared globally can send visitors in India to an India-specific page and visitors in the US to a US-specific page, with a default destination for everyone else.
